Not in the same way I did as a teenager, but I still ask before doing anything. It’s out of respect. “You still ask for permission even though you’re an adult?” - Yes I do. I still live with them and rely on them for transportation when I can’t take a bus so it’s common courtesy.​

I'm married and don't live with them. But even when I was a teenager, I don't think I ever ask them for permission. I just tell them my plan and who I'm going with.

in some sense yes, because i live with my family so i'd rather have my mom and grandma know what i'm up to even though i don't really have to ask for permission because they usually let me do what i want
