Do you suffer from migraines? (1 Viewer)

My mother has had terrible migraines, chronic thing, really. I have never had a problem though. I would eve say when sick, I get a fever for one day and then it´s gone and my lungs are what suffers the most. But oh boy, have my luck run out!
I have just had my first ever proper migraine attack and now I understand why people say overexaggerated stuff like "I´d rather bang my head on the wall" or "someone just cut my head off". MAN, IT HURTS LIKE HELL. I literally thought I was dying, like all I could think of was .... can´t this pain go away? can´t my head finally burst open? I had never been in such horrible pain. omg. if this is to ever come again, what is life? please tell me this is not like that ... always? my head still hurts a lot, but it´s a breeze from what I had experienced one hour ago when I screamed in silence and cried like a baby.

I've had bad headaches; but I don't think they have been migraines. I however haven't had a serious one in years and I rarely get one. My mother, sisters and one brother use to have them.

Yeah since I was 11, it's usually one side of my head with a pulsating pain and effects my eyesight. Sounds, smells usually trigger them... Bright lights during them make them so much worse.
My brother has them too. I use to have special medication for them.
I get the less now adays but when I do get them the duration is longer usually 2 to 3 days, longest I've has was a week, felt like I was going to die, wearing sunglasses and doing everything in the dark helps though.

I´m so sorry to hear that. I hope you´ll feel better soon. two painkillers did it for me, but I hope I won´t get one so strong again.

thank you for your concern and for your worries, but I´m better now. I felt dizzy a bit in the morning, but all seems to have been resolved with sleep overdose. ♥
