Personally, I sometimes dislike idol groups if their fans are too loud or messy even though I know that it's technically not their fault.
I feel like idols should be able to reign their fans in at least a little, but at the same time I can see why that's hard in a stan culture like kpop.
So I don't really know, in the future id like to see more kpop stars lightly telling their fans to not do certain things, but with how restrictive their management is, I doubt it will happen.​

I think considering how much control they have over their fans, t hey can influence them in a good day. Not just telling them to be nice, but I feel like by supporting their artist friends and sharing some other stuff, they can show their fans that "it is ok if you like other stuff too" and "please, don´t fight with other fans, we are friends with those groups" etc. They can also lead by example.

I love that Baekhyun always spoils his fans by giving them free spoilers and telling them that instead of buying 10 of his CDs they should buy warm clothes and that he is just fine , that they don´t need to get over the top with their support.

But all in all, we are all responsible for our behaviour.

I think they are only responsible for the behavior of their fans if they have actively encouraged said behavior.
And I see a group in a positive light if they actively support positive uplifting behavior and put down negativity and hate
That being said, in the end fans are responsible for their own behavior and need to take accountability for their own fxxkups so in the end it's them who need to change, not necessarily the artist

No. I've seen times where idols speak out about their fans' negative behaviors and ask them to be careful, but that's all they can do. People are gonna do what they want.

no, idols don't know their fans personally and they can't control them at all. often the idols might not be even aware of certain things their fans did. they should be responsible for their own actions without idols being blamed for it in any way.

even if they're unable to get their fans to change their behaviour, the bare minimum would be to call them out
doesn't always work, but I appreciate the acknowledgement, like the times chanyeol forced exols to chill a bit before resuming whatever they were doing
because at the end of the day, the fans do reflect on the idols they stan, like it or not

People do what they do regardless of others' influence. It'd be cool to think that idols telling people to do something different would change certain behaviors. But anytime idols say something correcting behavior or making it very clear they dislike certain actions it doesn't stop those fans from acting out.

They either willfully ignore it or say someone is making them say that shit and that they don't mean it. It could also lead to those fans unstanning and moving onto another idol who maybe won't talk ill about their actions or behavior.

Plus with saesangs you have to keep in mind they LOVE getting any sort of attention from idols so even speaking out can inflate things.

I don't expect for idols to rant and rave about toxic fans but I do appreciate it when some groups say things like "you have to respect every member" etc.

They should be good role models and maintain their appearance but sometimes the fans go overboard and act against the idols discretion.
