There is a show on Netflix: Love is Blind
It's kind of cheesy and cringy but also sweet how people are able to discover their soulmates in such a short amount of time.
I liked the idea of the experiment starting off without anyone being able to see each other.
It gives me hope that humanity isn't as shallow as I assumed it to be even though all of the contestants are drop-dead gorgeous.
Although, I'm confused as to why only a certain amount of people came through with it...like what happened to everyone else?!
Anyways, would you be willing to see if love is blind? Regardless of age, race, and appearance?
I think it would be interesting and I'd be willing to try it.

anyway i certainly think platonic love is blind
and i really believe that familial/platonic love is only a hop and a skip away from romantic love
but the physical bridge there is one that isn't usually blind
in a sense
i believe love is blind
but physicality is not
many people are more interested in physical desires
and so that gets mixed in with love

I really don't think I'd ever take part in this kind of show, but I think love is pretty blind when it comes to me yea.. don't care much for anything other than "what's inside" and I'm not even sure that's a fully good thing? but this is how I am hehe..

I agree. Most contestants were infatuated on an emotional level
but later on, got swayed because of the lack of physical desire
they had for that person. It's sad but it's human nature.
Because you have a picture in your mind and when it
doesn't meet that expectation then it's game over.

Yeah, it wouldn't be any different of how love develops for me anyway, so I wouldn't have an issue in doing that. However Falling in love with someone doesnt happen quickly for me and sometimes it just doesn't click for me so it doesn't go beyond platonic even if their personality checks all my boxes.
