yes, big crimes committed by minors should be tried as adults, bc kid or not, those are not to be taken lightly. But then you have smaller crimes like shoplifting, traffic violations, or disorderly conduct - those don't necessarily need to be tried as adults bc kids will be kids in that regard. Just make them pay for what they did with smth like a fine or community service.

for the US and Australia it's 18 but for like SK it's 19 for example

I feel like it’s hard to say. For example, that situation some time back when a 6 year old shot their teacher, if the teacher died, would it be fair to try them as an adult? Is it really safe to say they understood exactly what they were doing and how serious it was? I would guess not, and that they’re too young to truly understand. They should still have some kind of a repercussion, but I don’t know if I could say that being treated exactly the same as an adult is realistic.

in germany there was a case. 2 minors (14) killed their classmate. they planned it. they even searched online if they could be help responsible for the crime with 14. they got away with it, because there are no punishment for minors.

Depends on the perpetrator's age, the severity of the crime, and certain other factors.
I think it's too nuanced to put any blanket statement regarding it into law. It'd have to be a case by case thing.

Do you know how many Black 13yo's get charged as an adult for petty crimes while you got white students massacring their family's and get juvenile detention!? (Btw not saying the black kids didn't deserve it). If my 10yo child murdered someone they deserve to serve the time for the crime, but if you aren't going to be fair about it I don't think it should be done.

In Aus we try them as adults minors


For children under the age of criminal responsibility (under 10 years in Australia), the law does not consider them capable of committing a criminal act, hence they cannot be legally charged or sent to jail. For those between 10 and 18, the juvenile justice system intervenes.
