And even if they we're.. shes 23 now, not 12.

You know my thoughts to me it doesn't matter if she was an asshole as a child if she grew up and out of it. And her actions as a child, without a fully developed brain, shouldn't determine if she gets to have a career or not as an idol. It's stuff that should've been taken care of ages ago and to bring it up now seems like an attention grab and an attempt to ruin a person's career who seems to have moved on from that shit.

If Soojin can't remember this shit or recalls it differently then there is no middle ground and the accuser needs to chill out. And Soojin maybe needs to take a break and then come back to it. But her career shouldn't end because of her actions as a child.

i mean first of all i agree with @Lovely_Cornchips that no one should have their whole career destroyed over something they did as a child (when it's something much more severe then it's obviously different but with soojin it's not the case). i understand that it might be difficult for victims to come forward about something which affected them early after it happened, but the fact that soojin's statements were all clearly detailed and what the victim said was more vague leads me to thinking that the allegations are not true.

I think there could be some truth to it, she did admit to smoking and there was phone incident apparently, but I don't think bullying is always clear cut. Sometime it is, but not always. To me right now it seems like there might been quarrels and hurt feelings when they were teens and the girl might have felt she was bullied, but I don't think it seems as serious like some of the people involved made it seem.

I agree with the sentiment that childhood actions shouldn't destroy a person's career but I think she and Cube could have handled the situation a lot better. Like I was mad about the Mingyu accusations but to me Pledis was more thorough, had a better statement, and let the situation die quicker.

Cube's handling of the situation has just felt more flippant like even if the whole thing is true that no matter what they weren't going to do anything about it. Which probably spurred the alleged victim more, as well as gave people in general the wrong impression. When there is too much smoke people are going to think there is a fire...
