I doubt it, wether it's voting manipulation or footage being altered to make people look different than they are, at the end they just do what brings them in the most money, be that tons of "sad background story = immediate finalist" or just evil-editing

I have heard about the conspiration theories that some groups are favoured over the others - Stray Kids, Ateez and I dunnno who was the third one, but it does seem like people are forgetting SF9 and BTOB are also in the game :D

yeah I mean, MNET's holy three Stray Kids, Ateez and The Boyz seem to be in focus for 23/7 of the time, BTOB, iKON and SF9 probably only attended cuz all the other groups said no

the fact that it is so obvious is just sad. iKON are at least legends already ,but maybe BTOB and SF9 could get new fans via other fandoms - both Stray Kids and Ateez are internationally quite big. what a wasted opportunity.

it just seems really unbalanced from what I've heard so idk, its why i havent really checked out much of Kingdom yet altho I initially wanted

No, but we can always dream. After the first rigging scandal, it has become harder to trust survival show systems. Like that upcoming MNET survival show Girls Planet 999, I wouldn't be surprised if that got rigged at some point.

still time, there is still just two epis out and plenty of cuts on youtube. I might post them in a thread, just for the sake of judging. the Intro was definitely won by Stray Kids and well deserved so! they were awesome, but I have watched some bits of "behind the scenes" or whatever we want to call the process and there, the imbalance is really clear. SF9 has minimal screentime.

tbh sf9 is the one i feel the worst about bc btob is massive in korea, they're not big internationally but since btob has both fandom and tons of public appeal, they aren't in any danger. actually btob had no reason to come onto kingdom except for the fact that they wanted to. they're technically more popular than skz and ateez in the terms that they make shet tons more money than them

I don't mind if it is the music producers doing the manipulating. It's like they are choosing musical instruments to express their music. They worked hard on creating their songs, don't they deserve to choose who gets to sing or rap on it?

My own ult is a producer choice and I agreed with them. There are Twitter posts under his debut announcement with fans criticizing the fact he wasn't popular enough to place during the survival show. I guess it's one of the reasons why I can't really get with the fandom.

Edit: Survival shows recruiting individual trainees just need to be honest and say up front that they will have 1-2 producers' choices on the debuting team.
