I make my friends listen to kpop sometimes but most of them are casual listeners. My family doesn't prefer kpop even though they get me kpop presents My mom got me an EXO pillowcase that is hilarious to this day

crop tops, shorts, tight dresses...anything remotely "risque" (and they're not really ?? except when the stylists make them wear uncomfortably tight dresses) makes her upset. she's deeply conservative and religious.

Not really, I’ll show a few variety shows to my mom because she doesn’t seem to understand why I like my faves since I can’t understand what they’re saying so I’ll show her those to kind of maybe help her see why I like the members personalities.

Like someone else mentioned, my mom is very religious (I’m a Christian as well but I guess she’s more on the conservative side than I am) so she doesn’t agree with the fact that they’re called idols, or their dancing, she doesn’t like that she can’t understand the lyrics either, (she doesn’t agree with rapping) or other things like men wearing makeup. The few things I have shown her like songs and some varieties she likes (she loves Jungkook) but she doesn’t really seem to be very interested in the genre so I’ll only show her things when I can’t contain my excitement usually lol.
