Do you usually feel empty? (1 Viewer)

In the moment (ok now this meaning in years) all what I feel is this empty feeling, nothing what I do matter, nothing that happens to me matters, I really focus on stuff I like, fictional, music, shows, movies etc because they really are the only thing that I can count sometimes.
Real life has no appeal, not mine at least, it's such a weird feeling because welp I don't wanna be here (irl) but I need to be for some reason I never signed up for this my life is bad and empty and so are my feelings, I don't remember last time I felt alive (to use more simple words), to live in constant emptiness and only finding confort in fiction is not a way to live but hey here I am

I used to feel that way about fiction too

But it can be quite useful, I mean, if we play a handheld videogame in the bus it makes the long trip last just a few minutes.

That works even with books or music.

We don't need to live suffering, there's no problem in going to escapism instead of letting the bad thoughts dominate us.

I mean, no wonder people binge watch on netflix everyday nowadays (I don't have netflix though)

Sometimes, usually it's whenever I have nothing to do during the day/night and I begin to think about how slowly I'm progressing with my goals or just things most people around my age are doing like going to college, already driving, a job, etc... Whereas here I am struggling to just get through the simplest of things in life.

I hope everything goes well with your goals

Don't worry about age, if we think like that I'm the one that wasted most years from people here and I'm doing just fine lol

or playing video games specially point click games I love them, sorry if I came out as a little bit dramatic tho! It's just how I feel
people love netflix I prefer other things because the netflix in my country is very bad (it always remove a lof of movies I am done with them lmao)

well there's no other way for me, a lot of things are not available there's so many movies that I love and I can't find them anywhere so what am I supposed to do

It's not that I'm sad, it's just that I don't do much human interaction that isn't against my own will.

Then I go like "Ok, but what good will that do to me? "

And what good will it not do?

Most things I do nowadays is basically to make the time pass lol
