I have a family connection to Korea. So my knowledge on Korea, Korean culture and Korean history predates that of my interest in Kpop.

And it's because of this, that my trips to Korea are mostly focused in exploring the culture and history of Korea.

My Grandfather, whilst he was alive, never spoke of what he experienced throughout the Korean War.
So I've had to do my own research and it's been very fascinating reading books on the Korean War, visiting the DMZ and the Korean War Museum in Seoul.

I mean I like a lot of their food options but overall, I am open to trying food from any region and most end up being good-tasting anyway. I have watched a few K-dramas either before or after getting to know Kpop but at some point I decided the way they portray "innocent first love" and all the reaction scenes are rather cringey and nothing close to realistic and gave up on it.
