To check in on your pets while you’re away?

I just got one about a month ago, I’ve been wanting one for years now because it’s really reassuring to know that my cat is alright while I’m gone working or just away from home all day.

i read the title and got so confused, i thought you meant taking care of a camera as a pet...
but no, whenever we leave the house we put my baby in her crate so she won't pee on the floor (she's old and has very little control over it), and when she goes in the crate she just whines and barks and cries, so i wouldn't want to see that
