I went and looked to see what happened, and now I remember.
She began promoting Nightride in 2015 with a few songs, and then the label refused to release it as is. She managed to release it in 2016, but I don't think it was the version she had originally planned, as some of the songs weren't on there. Also RCA refused to promote the album at all. Indstead, they promited 2018's Joyride. So, as a pop star, she had no promo for four years, and in that time, had released an album that her label had condemned and that didn't feature her intended tracklist.

Really, really unfortunate. She worked so hard as well.
