I still have a large bag of plastic bags. I was going to recycle them, but then my state banned new plastic bags and I'm hanging on to mine just in case.

Yep, from grocery shopping. They sit in the reusable bags.

not plastic since we got rid of plastic in Australia a long time ago but lots of clothe bags
we have like a million of those bags in the back of my car and multiple bags to hold the other bags lol

If only America was this progressive.

Yes, we do! We used to have a LOT of them too because we would almost never use them. But if we did, it would be for like replacing the bags for small trash cans or using it to clean up when cooking/baking.

But eventually, we just cut it down to using one bag of bags and put like 50 bags full of bags in the bin where Walmart can reuse them (yes, we got to Walmart a lot)

California banned one use plastic bags so stores sold reusable bags. It just became another cash grab for stores because the bags didn't last that long and you always forgot them.

Yeah...I've debated buying reusable bags for the sake of the environment but at the same time, is it really worth it? I don't know if it's going to be enough for the amount of groceries my family buys. And what if you buy something like chicken or beef and it starts to leak? You would have to wash them after pretty much every use.

Yeah, even if the bag is new. Any moisture and it has to be thrown away.

It really is something that's hard to decide. But I do like how Walmart gives you the option to send in your plastic bags so that they can be reused (or at least that's what I hope happens)

huh here down under there's plenty of organisations that make those kinds of bags and practically give them away as brand/promotional material

Ha, that would be smart. These were still plastic just thicker... so they "lasted" longer. So in essence they are worse for the environment.

yeah some of these bags we've used for like years...and we just store them in the back of our car...
