For me it’s face blindness. I have it and it’s rough, and explaining it to other people in person always feels awkward, though less online. If more people knew about it it would probably be easier for me than it is rn

Infantile spasms, or West syndrome. It's a very rare form of childhood epilepsy that only occurs in so many babies. The youngest daughter of a friend of mine had it from about seven months, and the doctors didn't think she had very long to live. atopic dermatitis, a type of eczema
basically in my case if i am in contact with pollen or dust and then eat something that isn't the blandest food in existence (meaning most store bought readyfoods, different seasonings, anything containing soy, a lot of nuts, nearly all fruits like apples, peaches, pears etc) it would cause my eyes to swell shut and get really dry. During the peak of the pollen season it was impossible to get rid of bcs i was always in contact with it in some way. i missed weeks of school thanks to it. I also found out that a makeup brand that i had been previously using for years with no issues was also making everything worse so i had to throw a bunch of it out and try to find new stuff.

currently i can eat all of the foods again in moderation since pollen is low rn, but still every single morning i have that fear where i wake up and cant open my eyes bcs of the swelling and the pain. It really took a toll on my confidence tbh and as a teenager with an active social life it truly sucks when you cant go anywhere since you look like an animated cartoon character.
