Does chicken egg color matter to you? (1 Viewer)

I know odd question, but we sell our eggs to people in town and this is something that has recently come up. All of our current laying hens lay colored eggs, most have this olive green to sea foam green color and one girlie lays brown pinkish eggs. I think they’re super pretty but a few people we’ve sold to seem almost grossed out by it. One lady even asked if she could get brown or white eggs next time. No, we cannot because they don’t change color with each egg laid, it stays the same.
It’s just really odd to me that it bothers people, the color doesn’t change the taste. I think they look more appealing tbh.

Nah. As much as I like pretty colored eggs, they taste the same when I cooked them.
