Does Google Translate translate your language correctly? (1 Viewer)

Basically if you were to write something in your native language (if it's not english) and translate it to English is it accurate? What if it's a whole passage vs a sentence?

not really xD but it depends if I use Swiss idioms

not at all, but i can't say i'm surprised because the polish language sometimes doesn't make sense at all

No not really. Russian is very hard to translate.

not really, it translates word by word so sometimes it just doesn´t sound natural and sometimes it just doesn´t work lexically as some words don´t have the same meanings as their literal translations.
I´d say for basic phrases, google helps, but otherwise not really

When I translate something into a foreign language and then back into English, sometimes it comers up with the weirdest things... I can't tell you what, though - just in general. lol
