does kps give you false notifications? (1 Viewer)

like it writes that there's something new, but when you click there's nothing i get excited then like oh there's nothing :( does it happen to you too?​

I've noticed that sometimes. I think it might be a notification that gets generated when someone hits the Like reaction, but then takes it away to give another reaction (or no reaction).

The notification could still be "sent" but there's nothing there now.

i though so too, but i don't think it happens that often? i also think it's when reactions are summarized at the bottom

it doesn't! even if you're tagged, you don't get notifications when a post is edited. i made sure to not annoy people in my cards trading thread

as I understand it sometimes when you get reactions the system "summarizes" the reactions together in a bunch so they automatically disappear if you click the response received from a person who reacted to you

Do you mean there's a number where the notification alert bell is?
I dont hv a screenshot rn-(if i rmbr ill include ss of wat i mean later)

But if sometimes you see a ghost alert, maybe you can click on resummarize below the alerts bell, after you click show all n mark read all notifs-the ghost notif alert wont be there anymore. It seems to be a glitch/remnant of KS forum notifs/alerts(unless im explaining it wrong/its not wat u mean). Maybe you can ask in the ask mods thread instead.

This can happen frequently when you collect cards which is partly why I turned off my cards notifications and just go to my page to see what I got but I believe if you just go to your notifications and click show all then go to unread it'll get rid of those notifications if you have any.

Like Abe says it can happen with cards for some reason. but Sha told you the fix already. I don't know about reactions because mine are off.
