Does pain ruin your mood or is it a side thing? (1 Viewer)

Usually when I’m in pain (headache or otherwise) I feel like my mood is terrible. But right now I’m in some pain and it’s kind of whatever? Like it’s annoying but not to the point that I’m annoyed or unhappy. Kind of weird, you’d think that pain after surgery would be more bothersome than a headache but if not for me apparently

I try to ignore the pain as much as possible, and not let it affect me.

Some pain though, like migraines, I just can't ignore. So I avoid people until it subsides.

I blew out two disc's at 22 and have a third one messed up in my neck. I've also developed rheumatoid arthritis so if I let pain ruin I my mood I'd always be angry. If it gets really bad I try to do things I especially enjoy to take my mind off of it.

Depends on the pain. I can work through nausea and stomach pain. UNLESS it's super severe. But headaches are a fast way to make me cranky. I get really bad migraines and those are just anger inducing.
