For me it does, i think it's biggest part actually Like I can't rly say I prefer certain hairstyles or colors, body types etc. i can say sth i wouldn't like but it would be just extremes (like overly muscular, thin, large).. but what comes to personality and attraction I'm rly attracted to people who smile a lot and are confident and fun
