weird question?

my family have really thick cajun accents, literally all of them.
they moved like 30 minutes up north from their home town and that's where i grew up
the accent was less prominent over there from other kids my age, so i ended up not picking it up at all
and im sure watching tv a lot had to do with it too, just picked up speech patterns from there lol
it only comes out for specific words, ones that are way too heavy to not be pronounced in the dialect for me,
but 95% of the time you will not hear that accent out of me. ​

Both my parents are immigrants so definitely not and we moved around a bit but never anywhere where there was a strong accent.
I have a very general American accent. My cousins say I sound very Jersey but I dont hear it. Maybe it's just the phrases I say.

It slips out on the rare occasion, but for the most part, no. Even weirder bc my twin sister has the accent but I don't
