In that context, what does 'studio' mean in China? Is it a real production studio or some type of deposit for hiring a producer, promotion and so forth?

I know, I was confused too. "Studio" in this context is more like "portfolio;" it's a marketing tool that Handong can use to promote herself and/or CFs, network/create connections, and obtain business opportunities, but it's not, like, a music/management company the way Baekhyun's INB100 is. It's basically building her own personal brand.

On that note, though, she has teased that she's releasing a solo song soon.
