wish #1: i think it'll be genuinely cool if a kpop group had a definitive taiwanese line even a hong kong line? imagine how big this'll be. kpop has always had foreign idols but i would love to see how a full on taiwanese line or a hong kong line (by hong kong i mean people who are cantonese and not chinese). group with a dedicated taiwanese or hong kong line is totally possible and i think fans want something like this to happen. it's not impossible! it'll be risky. having members who are ethically cantonese/taiwanese is amazing

wish #2: WE REALLY NEED A GROUP LIKE THIS! imagine a group that debuts from a very small company but are surprisingly good singers that can sing live and have amazing acapella skills? but the catch to them is the fact that they've trained themselves on how to sing properly using free internet tutorials and very cheap methods as they are from a tiny company. they'll also have no plastic surgery, minimal makeup and simple thrift store clothing that looks surprisingly good on them? i think if we get a group like this, it could genuinely change people's perspective that you don't need to hire expensive vocal teachers, or expensive training, all you need is discipline, dedication and a genuine respect for your craft. if a group like this exploded in popularity, it'll break the kpop scene. in a world where most kpop idols are shown to have similar vocal tones/colors and lack stable live vocals, a group like this would set a standard for what it truly means to be a kpop idol again. if anyone could do something like this, it'll be a group from a small or unknown company with a genuine vision.

wish #3: kpop is in dire need of a group with differing body types and statures. east asia esp is known to put a huge emphasis on slim and skinniness. Especially with its kpop idols, who are known to maintain a skinny body, it's only gotten worse as time went on. as we have fans recreating these bodies which isn't a good thing. having idols whom are thick, chubby, toned and etc would be a huge game changer, triple points if these distinct body types are in a group together. in the past, we've had idols have slim bodies but they had a little bit of girth to them. They had toned bodies and prominent chest and hips, it wasn't always as skinny as a skeleton. a group like this would be amazing in kpop, of course by getting through the hurdles first, but it's genuinely possible.

wish #4: considering the amount of smaller companies that debut kpop groups that genuinely make a lot of great music and have very talented members but get overshadowed by bigger acts, there should be a company or some sort of program made to help groups that get less than 5 million views and less than a few thousand music streams on their streaming platforms. usually this group would help these groups get lukewarm or a little more mainstream attention. it wouldn't be a whole lot but it's enough for eyes to be on them and for people to hype them up so they can build on that hype. the company can also help out the companies with some financial issues and help with necessities such as food and housing. It could help these idols get on music shows which are hard for groups from smaller companies as those slots are typically made for well known groups. granted, just because a group from a small company performs on a music show doesn't guarantee long term success, but it's a definite starting point for them.

wish #5: a blind survival show that focuses on a small amount of trainees (10-15) or aspiring people who want to debut as a kpop idol. the concept of it would be the judges (whom are professional vocal trainers who've worked with top idols and not celebrity stars) and the audiences and viewers can not see what the contestants look like as they are hiding behind a curtain and singing a variety of songs? without autotune, pitch audio correct and a backing track for songs? leaving it up to the audience and the fans to trust their performances to vote for them. their faces would be revealed in the final episode but it causes fans to sit and think that their favorite person they've been voting for may not fit the traditional beauty standard. so many people are tired of the same old survival show tropes like evil editing, favoritism, hogging too much screen time, etc. A show like this would have a huge impact, even if a big network won't pick the show up and it's made by a small network. cuz we all know the non large company created survival shows or mnet created survival shows tend to be the more underrated ones. yes i know we have a kinda show like this already, but this'll actually be a good idea and it'll be made more on a smaller scale...hmm, if it doesn't get picked for a network show, it can be made as a youtube or netflix exclusive and become a very popular show with people spreading the word on social media and from word of mouth in the real world

I would like to see several groups and soloists come to my region of the world, traveling to Asia or (if I'm lucky) nearby European countries is doable but it's a huge commitment.

I live in Sweden. We have Aespa coming to Stockholm in January and even though they aren't a group I'm really into I will go see them just because I can, and Le Sserafim is coming to (Copenhagen) Denmark which is a train ride away so I will go see them too. Other than those two no group I know has ever come to my region.

I'm mainly into JYPE groups (Twice, Itzy, Nmixx) and several soloists (SNSD members, JY Park, Sunmi, Lee Chaeyeon, Jeon Somi etc) and for soloists in particular there's almost 0 chance of any of them ever coming here, JYPE groups only started doing Europe lately so I went to London to see Itzy and Paris for Nmixx because none of them has come to my country.

(I also went all the way to Seoul for Twice)

never lose hope though. i think a lot of groups are seeing the demand for lesser known places to have concerts at. also i think there's this website called MyMusicTaste and i think you can use it to get musical acts to tour in your area.
