He is now set to act in a new c-drama, The Curse of Turandot, with Guan Xiaotong and Hu Jun. The fantasy and action drama has a star-studded cast. Guan Xiaotong is known for her roles in the films The Left Ear, Shadow, and A Paper Marriage, as well as television series like To Be A Better Man and A Girl Like Me. Hu Jun, is known for acting in Shadow (with Guan Xiaotong) and other films such as Lord of Shanghai and Battle of Golden Triangle.

The Curse of Turandot circles around three bracelets that come from a foreign land. These bracelets each do good on their own but when combined they can be used for evil. Each bracelet is associated with a riddle, however, nobody has been able to solve the riddles. They are on a search to find the person who can lift the curse of these three bracelets.
