Go ahead I know you're already rushing to comment "Oh look, another so-called feminist who thinks all men rape and murder" but it's more complex than that. I have a fear of men because of the traumatic events of my earlier childhood. I've spoken of these vividly in my other threads so for anyone who hasn't seen them just know that very twisted old men online used me. This seems unreasonable but a lot of victims like myself fear being assaulted again and a lot of us project on to peers or family not because we believe they'd do something like that but because the closest person to you is the most likely person to betray you or turn on you. But I usually project on most males. Even some people who have boy idols as their pfp scare me with the mere thought that they may be one of those horrible men even though I don't know them well enough to conclude that. Not all men are bad ofc one of my closest friends is a boy but even with him I can't help but think he has the slightest chance of being one of those bad men.

i identify as nonbinarytrans but I was born female and perceived as a girl by a lot of ppl despite this. the stuff that happened was before my technical "transition"

I'm not sure what I can/can not say on this website, so
But if you are young (<19-20) I hope you will one day consider detransition or whatever is the right term. Studies usually show that trans ppl are struggling a lot more in this life. + for trans people fear of men is very reasonable I would say.

You will grow up and everything will be fine. Spend more time in nature, eat healthy food, study and read some books - and your life will be amazing. (I know you will not listen me, but still)
And don't get offended, where I am from there are no such words as non-binary, trans and all other. So I may seem rude to you now.

my only thought is how would you survive in the real world...surrounded by (last I checked the world is roughly 50%) men...
I mean you have to interact in some way or shape eventually - teachers, classmates, co-workers, waiters, etc etc

I mean i get that i don't just shreik and run away whenever I see men I just have amn internal rush of adrenaline and anxiety to the point where sometimes my face just freezes up and i look like I have a gun pointed at me
