apparently this was a big deal because these exams are highly valued and put such pressure on korean teens that the suicide rates go up. yeah maybe his joke was dumb but after all i think knetz shouldn't direct their anger at some teenager from a boyband but at the fact that an exam makes students want to kill themselves to begin with...

Saw the article on this that Soompi did and I could see why he caught flak for it as for one it didn't really come across as a joke since he said people wouldn't do well with the fanmeet being after it and then just proceeded to say that they didn't matter and in Korea that was bound to go over about as well as you think it would
