Appreciation |EP review| ENOi - W.A.Y (1 Viewer)

here we go with my second review

I first knew about ENOi around December 2019 and I really appreciate their songs so far. They came back with a special album called W.A.Y few days ago. We start with a new version of a song they have already released : Bloom, it is a fresh song that is suiting summer very well. I liked it!



Then we have a short track called 雨 (For Flower Bud) which introduces their new title track: W.A.Y(Where are you)



Honestly the song was an instant love, I can't say anything bad about it. That song is catchy and their voices are enjoyable here.

The special album is concluded by a refreshing ballad called Wish (Be my love)

Well, for me, they still sound like every other BG.
But of course, I know you love them, and it seems you have them a pretty good rating.
I am confident that BAND-MAID's Bring it on album will get a high rating though, unless you won't like it but if you are a Band-Maid fan, you should love it too

I like Band-Maid so I can’t see why I wouldn’t like it

Cheeky is still on my playlist and ENOi does have great potential. However, with this release they became "just another boy group" trying to blend in.
W.A.Y sounds like a lovechild of WANNA ONE and X1 songs. RED IN THE APPLE was way better when it comes to original content, loved their quirky concept way more.

I agree :)) Red in the Apple was more original but this release is going well with summer 🙏
