I can confidently say I never irl have seen a black swan in my life for aslong I have been alive in Europe. I have only seen them on TV. The metaphor is also a first time I heard of it tho. I only ever heard of the black duck/ ugly duckling being a metaphor over here. (which is insane because black baby ducks look way cuter than the standard yellow fluff balls.) :sanapray:
