Shocking turn of events tbh as people can and should be skeptical about stuff like this but this is historically uncharacteristic of SM as situations like this previously have always resulted in the artist/s leaving so the fact they worked this out is mind boggling.

The fact they actually stopped doubling down on being in the right and admitted fault is crazy and that along with revising the contracts makes lean towards SM probably sticking to their word as CBX lawyer sounded very confrontational so I'm sure the revisions left CBX with an out if SM doesn't stick to it.

Very interesting. SM must have had legal advice that they were screwed and it would cost them more to let it go on than to resolve it. Additionally, Baekhyun is very very popular so there is a LOT of missed revenue if he leaves even beyond the lost EXO $$: the Teolaegi stuff, the million selling soloist, solo tour money. And that's before you talk about legal penalties. I wonder what implications this has for the investigation they asked the govt for, as well as the other idols renegotiating.
