Yixing isn't allowed to fly to Korea due to covid restrictions, so he won't be promoting. I don't think EXO are going to be doing much promo at all (at least on music shows) though anyway seen as Chanyeol and Baekhyun have enlisted.

So basically, "back" isn't exactly it. This is the same setup as DMUMT, only somehow even less cohesive.

Pretty much, still mainly because SM suck, but also covid continues to suck. All we know from Yixing currently are just these two teasers. As of yet he doesn't have a member version of the album, and we don't know if/what he's recorded.

Honestly so tired of SM's crap at this point. Even with Covid, it's not like travel is impossible, so there's not really an excuse for what they're doing. It's like they pull him out every time there's a new album just to cash in, and then it goes back to being like he doesn't exist.

To be fair the cases in Korea are rising, and they have a rule where outside of work you're only allowed in groups of four. Baekhyun couldn't do EXO's traditional military photo because of it. The THAAD issue is starting to slowly disappear, and Yixing is becoming more involved again, which is a good sign. It seems more encouraging this time around, but I'm not getting too ahead of myself at the same time.

Back in 2018 (or 19) Suho said publicly on a show that the nine of them had already discussed options for when their contracts are up, which included the possibility of them all leaving SM. EXO have always done things differently to other SM groups up until now, like how SM were ready to let Chen go last January but the members stopped it and said he was staying, which I bet at some point has also been the case with Lay. If they're going to do something, they'll do what Highlight have done.

I'll believe it when I see it, but I highly doubt that's what will happen. All idols talk about staying together, EXO has never struck me as a group that will. They might stay friends, but I honestly don't see them continuing on as a group.
