Exposing my disability + a little piece of related good news (1 Viewer)

idk how many users kno or remember this, but I have a disability called CHARGE syndrome, and part of that is deaf-blindness. I'm not completely deaf or completely blind, but my hearing and vision are bad enough to warrant hearing aids, glasses, and a white cane. This is also why I'm typing in large print. That's my little self-exposure for you today.

Anyway, I haven't had hearing aids in literal years because I lost mine a long time ago and never made a request for new ones. But I finally bit the bullet l.ast month, and I have an appointment with the audiologist next Friday to get them fitted and programmed! I'm really looking forward to it, because I have a concert to go to this summert and would like to be able to clearly hear the music and when the artist (Cole Swindell, country singer) is interacting with us.
