In Berlin, Germany, there is a street called Mauerstraße, which can be translated as Wall Street. The Berlin Wall ran through this street. But the street wasn't named for the wall, instead it was named for a wall planned in the 1700's. A wall which was never built in the end. Kind of a funny coincidence
