I am back from hiding to share another one of the albums I worked on during my hiatus for my fictional girl group. This time their first full album. This was one of the most fun to create because when I first started creating these, the idea for their first album and their first non fairytale album was already building in my head so this one came very naturally to me and it was very fun to finally write out all my ideas.

Rena has shoulder length platinum blond hair with bright green and pink streaks underneath. Scarlett and Stella have long black hair. Elfie has very pale light ashy long brown hair. Iris has long dirty blonde hair with bangs.
Concept
“Diary of A Teenager” is exactly what it sounds like, it details moments and feelings that teenagers go through, friendships, first loves, fear of the future, heartbreak and finding themselves. Fairytale wanted to express these years as accurately as possible, using their own experiences and stories while being more involved in the creation of each song.

Written, Produced and composed by the members of Fairytale. A light, airy pop track that talks about the members sisterhood, and how because of each other they’ve been able to live their dreams together. It details their bond, how they are who they are because of each other, etc…
Track 2 (Title): Cheers
Produced by New Talent Entertainment with rap lyrics written by Rena and Iris. An infectious pop song that brings Fairytale back to their more elegant concept they debuted with. It talks about cheering on others who struggled earlier in the year because of the pressures of school, turning into an adult and trying to figure out who you are. It’s saying to stop and cheer for how far you’ve already made it, and to not be so hard on yourself, that the members of Fairytale are cheering you through everything. The song lets the vocalists and rappers shine while also supplying Rena, Stella and Iris with center positions for the group dance break at the end.
Track 3 : a lot like summer
Produced by New Talent Entertainment with rap lyrics written by Iris and Rena. A simple and light pop song perfect for summer driving. The song is simply talking about the love for summer, specifically the sunsets, how it’s the beautiful end to a possibly bad day. It’s something the singer chases for to see one great thing in their day even if in reality the day wasn’t so great.
Track 4 : Girls Know Best
Written and Produced by Elfie, with rap lyrics written by Iris and Rena. A sharp and smooth pop song driven by the members wonderful singing. It details not to mess with them or think of the members as naive, they can pick out the people who aren’t truly willing to get to know them and only wish to take advantage of them.
Track 5 : Crushing on You
Produced by Iris with lyrics by herself, Rena and Elfie. A fun, funky and jazz driven song. It details the singer trying to appeal to a guy she likes but feels like she has to change her physical appearance to appeal to him, even though she feels beautiful as she is. Stuff like “I’m already so cute with my full lips, long hair but I don’t fit your ideal type.” It talks about changing the standards of beauty.
Track 6 : Heart Hurts
Produced by New Talent Entertainment with rap lyrics by Rena and Iris. Another jazz inspired track that’s insanely addictive instrumental and powerful voices of the vocalists get you moving. It talks about the girls feeling like they’re in love with a boy for the first time and are surprised by how much they love the feeling of love. Their hearts hurt from pounding, they can’t stop smiling and they want to let him know how much they care for him.
Track 7 : I’m Only Young
Produced by Elfie with rap lyrics written by Rena and Iris. A timeless pop song that highlights the group's harmonious voices, incorporating an acapella section in the final chorus. It talks about the singer asking others to stop being so harsh on them, that they’re bound to make mistakes or do immature things as that’s part of growing up. The mistakes need to be made in order for them to grow as a person.
Track 8 : who i am
Produced by Elfie and Iris, with lyrics written by all 5 members. An alternative pop rock song. It talks about the girls feeling like disappointments to others at times, Stella for not continuing her promising career in ballet, all of them not going to college or furthering their education. Basically for “settling” as singers which to some of the public seems like an easy, spoiled lifestyle and useless. The girls talk about embracing their life choices and continuing on with their dreams despite others disappointment in the decision. The song has real instruments in it, with Iris playing the guitar in performances.
Track 9 : Young Love
Produced by New Talent Entertainment with rap lyrics by Rena and Iris. A sweet ballad that talks about experiencing an innocent and sweet love for the first time. Everything is beautiful, they’re unbelievably happy it almost feels cruel.
Track 10 : Broken in the End
Produced by Elfie and written by Iris, Elfie and Rena. A powerful and emotional ballad. It talks about the previous love mentioned in the earlier song that came to an unfortunate end, the singer's lover ended up hurting them, breaking the person's trust beyond repair, but yet, the singer still loves them.

Music Video
The MV opens with the girls sitting in a classroom, each bored as the teacher drones on. Scarlett is doodling, Elfie is throwing a crumpled paper up and down, Rena is reclining, feet up on her desk, Iris is simply resting her chin on her hand and Stella is flipping through pages of the Snow White fairytale book. As each member sings their parts in the first verse and pre chorus the camera pans between all of them rapidly.
Once the chorus hits the bell rings and the girls happily run out into the halls with the rest of the school, singing the song. From that moment on the MV is filmed as if it’s all a one take, the first chorus ends by the camera following Rena into the restroom where she and Iris have their rap verses. A bathroom stall opens into the cafeteria. This sequence is filmed almost like a musical with numerous back up dancers and extras. It transitions to a full football field stadium. A football team is playing, the stands are full, cheerleaders are performing while Fairytale and a large group of dancers perform the last part of the song in their own cheer uniforms and Pom poms. There’s a group dance break led by Stella, Rena and Iris, incorporating a moment of ballet during the section that Stella leads.

“Crushing On You” MV
It opens up with the girls watching an old Romcom, when all of a sudden, Elfie comes in, pushing in one of those clear marker boards (For the life of me I don’t know what they’re called lol). The song begins as she crashes the girls' movie night. She begins to hurriedly and humorously teaching them “What men want” on the board, emphasizing things like big butts/chest by playfully smacking the other girls and drawing a voluptuous drawing of a woman on the board. This is a fast sequence that happens during the first verses before the first chorus. During the first chorus the girls dance in front of the board that has the plan to become a more “appealing” woman. The dance is playful and interactive. Once the next set of verses begin, the girls are dressed as popular movie/tv female characters :
Elfie - Vivian Ward (Pretty Woman)
Rena - Regina George (Mean Girls)
Stella - Holly Golightly (Breakfast at Tiffany’s)
Iris - Lorelei Lee (Gentlemen Prefer Blondes)
Scarlett - Buffy Summers (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)
As these were all characters who were seen as the “ideal woman” in their time and are still seen as iconic characters. They act out iconic scenes of the characters while also adding a funny touch to them, Elfie steals the piece of jewelry, Rena dances crazily in the jingle bell rock scene remake, Scarlett makes friends with a vampire, etc…
The next chorus they then dance together as these characters. And the rest of the MV is more of them sort of creating havoc as these iconic characters, such as bouncing from different scenes of each film/show, trying on more iconic outfits of all the characters, etc…
The MV is very colorful and outside of the film/tv scenes it has a retro style to it, with lots of pinks, sea blue green and orange.
