so, I ask this question bc we had a karaoke session at the mental health facility (it is NOT a psych word, dw! lol), and one lady performed an astounding cover of True Colors by Cyndi Lauper, and that was released in the '80s... hence the thread title! lol

exactlky! I didn't grow up in the '70s, but sometimes when my dad listens to his '70s station on XM, I listen in, especially if it's a song that piques my interest.

that's okay! you can still get into the music. I grew up listening to songs from the '60s and '70s, and I was born in the late '80s!

I was and it would probably be a chinese song since I was still in China at that time but then again I don't remember much of my childhood whilst in china



I don't remember many songs when I was still there but this one is from an old Taiwanese Movie called the My Beloved
