We don't have an In-N-Out near me so I've never had it. My teacher has raved about Shake Shack but we don't have anyone near here either. But I have had the shakes, and they were pretty thick but still good.

My favorite is probably Smitty's Garage. I think they only have locations in my state but it's the price of most fast-food meals and they give you your food at similar speeds, but the burger is gourmet-level quality. A great place for teenagers who are hanging out with their friends, and need a good meal but don't want to spend a ton of money.

Don't worry, I don't live out in the middle of nowhere. It's a bunch of large towns with 20,000-100,000 people that are all within 30 minutes of each other.
