B.C. teen Amanda Todd’s online tormentor sentenced to 13 years in prison

The sentence is longer than the 12 years suggested by the Crown, but judge says his conduct calls for ‘sharp rebuke’

I remember hearing about Amanda Todd when I was 12 years old.
I'm 23 now and she finally got justice.
It took 9 years for her to get justice.
9 years.
That's insane.
Luckily, the man that extorted her got prison time but it was only 13 years.
I kind of wish he got life because of the gravity of his actions.
A menace like him shouldn't be let back into society ever.
I guess at least Amanda finally got some form of justice.

It's definitely a smaller sentence than he deserved... the system needs to change.

i am so so so relieved to see this, just a little while ago i got reminded of this case. That asshole sick fuck deserves all those years for destroying a young girls whole life. I hope he gets all the bad things in the prison may those 13 years be as hard as they can
