TV Finished watching the Puppy Bowl (1 Viewer)

It was amazing. I mean, cute dogs, cute cats, cute stories, funny gameplays, animal puns galore, whats not to love? [Spoilers about the winners]Team Fluff won, but it was really close. They even went into overtime for the first time ever. I really thought Team Fluff would win with a bigger margin at first but Team Ruff really brought their A game towards the end. It was nice to see some dogs with special needs getting highlighted too, even if they didn't show up as much in the gameplay. And its cute how they shared puppies not involved in the puppy bowl but that are looking for a home, since most dogs actually in the game have been adopted already (the puppy bowl wasn't live, it was filmed a while ago, so most dogs have been adopted in the meantime). They also featured a story about a 2nd grade class that teamed up with a local shelter and wrote stories from the dogs perspectives and drew images, then hung the stories and images outside of the dogs habitats. They held adoption events, and a decent amount of them got adopted. The teacher said the kids would always ask her right in the morning if their dog got adopted yet and thats just so precious imo There was more ofc but I can't cover everything that happened. If you have the chance to watch it I'd recommend without a doubt.

Edit: There was a last bit that I didn't see, it was mostly announcing awards but the last bit was about one of the dogs in the Puppy Bowl this year who passed away and now I'm sad

You might be onto something Though I feel like they might have ways to prevent that. But if it's as sad as the end of this one was maybe I shouldn't watch it Idk

I don't think they have a kitty bowl and if they did they'd still run the chance of one of them passing away, especially if they were also focused on rescue/shelter cats and ones with special needs (the dog that passed away this year was a special needs one)
