If you ever close down Chrome accidentally, don't panic.

All you have to do is open up a new Chrome window and hit Ctrl+Shift+T

It opens your last closed tab (or in this case window with multiple tabs).

Then it's less effective, but there's a Recent Tabs section in the three dots in the lower right hand corner (on iPhone) or upper right corner (on Android) of the Chrome app.

I shouldn't tell you this. You don't deserve to know it for the abuse you put your laptop through. But if you use firefox, you can sync open tabs to various devices. If you really wanted to protect your 84 vile tabs you could sync them to a phone or something you don't use often to keep them safe.

I don’t have a phone I don’t use often, just the one that I use a lot. I think chrome does that too, I can see laptop tabs I have open on my phone in a separate place

I can answer that since I'm also one who has many tabs open.

It's because we're lazy to keep opening new tabs for frequently visited sites and it's convenient and saves time just returning to the tabs.

Vikki ~ I don't know if you've already done this, but if you create a Bookmark folder and drag your open tabs individually into that folder and save the bookmark file, if your browser crashes again, all you have to do is right click on the folder and select the Open All Tabs option.
Then you do not have to ever worry about losing them. That's what I did.

Also, you've probably already done this, but, there's a Settings option in the browser where you can select Keep Previous Session which keeps all of your tabs open-- Not loaded automatically, just open until you click on certain ones.

Mine has grown too much. It's so stupid. I should really cut them down since a lot of them from a few years ago I don't even revisit.

In other words, I think I have a tab-hording problem.
