You might have seen the almost meteoric rise of RESCENE’s Woni separate personal channel circulating the Korean tubes. If you have no clue what I’m talking about read on!
RESCENE is a little known GG, smaller agency than most. Their leader her name is Woni. Woni, out of sheer gambling spirit, decided to open up a personal youtube channel. She thought nothing of it.
Now usually if the person isn’t already known, well the channel most likely flops… but somehow, some way, her channel did the complete opposite. Koreans LOVE her. For comparison to the group’s channel:
MILLIONS of views in literal days. It became so big that even Sullyoon guest starred. And I swear whenever a new vid pops up she gains thousands of subs every time. Her own channel is close in subs to the group’s channel. Crazy isn’t it?
Some of the most popular vids is when she stars with one of her members Minami who goes for a cutesy “Gyaru” Japanese concept which seems to be trending with the Korean audience.
You just love to see stuff like this, its like witnessing an underdog success story happening in real time. RESCENE again is from a small agency they don’t get many opportunities as some other groups.
