just a reminder that this is a prerelease. there's gonna be another pre release in probably late july/august and then their full album in September!

blackpink always comes back with something different! so they're most likely not gonna come back with something like hylt for their next release. so look forward to that!

also don't just disregard the entire comeback because you don't like the song! blackpink are expected to promote more, their live performances will probably be great. so if you didnt like the song then look forward to the actual era itself!

and for the people who like hylt... AHHH LETS GOOOOO SOTYYYY

I feel like this song hasn't shown any of the members strengths in any regard.
They are talented but due to the uninspired production by their producers (I suppose it's still mostly Teddy) and directors (MVs are still nice to look at but it's the same in every of their MVs) they are being held back.
I would really like to see their growth which for me hasn't been too big yet.

I do have hope that their next pre releases and maybe the full comeback with the album will get better but so far
Ii's generally underwhelming.

I can understand that and I feel the same way kinda. I feel like the song could have been longer. but I think what they were trying to do was make a splash, this way everyone would be hyped for this entire era. and I think they succeeded at that. I like the song, I think it's supposed to be more of a performance song and I think we'll see that tonight on the jimmy Fallon show.

they'll most likely do something different for their next release, and even if you don't like the two next title tracks, there's still a full album with bsides to look forward to. I understand that this may feel underwhelming for some but I really think that this era is about to be huge. I guess all I'm trying to convey a comeback is so much more then just the song, the promotion, the performances, the variety shows and the members themselves growing is all apart of it, so even if you don't like the song, please look forward to all of the other stuff that bp usually exceeds at

I agree with the teddy part, even though i did like the song i do have to say that i think it would be good if they got a different producer. that's why I'm so excited for their album overall and their next two title tracks because they were working with Tommy brown who is Ariana grandes producer. they also said that Ryan tedder (leader of one republic) worked with bp as well and he wrote songs like halo by beyonce, bleeding love by Leona lewis etc.

I think they're gonna do things differently this era. I'm most excited for their next two pre releases tbh, probably more excited then this comeback.

you didn't like as if its you're last? I'm surprised tbh i think that's one of their most gp friendly songs, even though I got sick of it after having to hear it over and over for a year... it grew on me after I didn't listen to it after a while.

but period bps power! even though you haven't liked a comeback since four years ago you still check up on them. that's all I can ask for honestly.

I like it better than Kill This Love tbh although I do agree with others that their title tracks have gotten a little predictable... I think it's because YG is trying too hard to pander to the American market.

aww i think as if its your last is pretty good though. especially the live version but to each their own.

also, i liked don't know what to do as well. tbh i didn't really like it when it first released but after hearing it at Coachella... I fell in love with it. the live version is superior!
