No. My current job I didn't apply to, but they found me and wanted to interview me. At the same time I applied to another company, and both wanted to hire me.

No, I had a pulse and was over qualified so they hired me.

I started working at the end of 2021, when COVID was kinda starting to fade (but then cases would spike again in my country).
I work in tourism, one of the industries that got hit the fastest and the worst. Lots of people left tourism to go into other fields to search for more stability and better pay, so they were basically begging for people to fill up those jobs

no. i did a mini interview and was hired on the spot 😭 which was probably a red flag but whatever

i had 3 interviews and a small chat with my boss before being hired, but they already knew they wanted to hire me after the first meeting. it was stressful ofc but not hard. my soft skills matched what the company values in their employees, namely my willingness to learn but mostly they were impressed with how in-touch i am with myself, my strengths, weaknesses and needs and how i'm able to communicate those needs. hr guy said my "self awareness is very mature for my age".

I had a few jobs. I guess it was easier in the past to get a job on the short way. When I worked as a storekeeper for a company 15 years ago, they had a computer crash and I repaired their PC in the warehouse in 10 minutes. After I told them that I had training as a computer technician, my boss at that time said: "If you want, you don't need to stack boxes here anymore. Tomorrow you can meet my brother. He and his team build and repair computers. One of his technicians quits his job, they need someone like you."

I'm not sure if this would still work nowadays (at least in Germany). Life got more complicated.
