Traditionally, we put up the Christmas tree on Dec 24 in my country, but I do one day earlier cuz Christmas Eve is the most important day of our Christmas holiday, so you will be very busy on 24th.
Also, children are not allowed to see the tree until they have been given permission by their parents, marked by the ringing of a bell. Parents decorate the tree secretly and claim that it was brought by angels. :)

How often do you switch out your fale tree?

Well the one we have now is new we’ve had it for a few years. The last one we had it until it was falling apart

Oh yeah that makes sense. We’ve had ours like 20 years

[lexus]

We've had ours up since Thanksgiving had ended. This year we had to have a half since we didn't have enough room for a full one

A half tree? Like you just chopped a regular one in half?

[izcream]

mine's fake too and i usually put it up whenever i'm in the mood for christmas so there isn't a specific period

[Magician]

We put up our tree last weekend and it's a fake one since me and my sister are allergic to real ones

[SHlNEE]

Is yours up yet? We put ours up the first weekend in December.

Also, do you get a fake or real one? We have had the same fake one all my life.

im not doing a tree
my cat will either get hurt badly by the glass decorations
or i will
or my floor will
and i will have to clean up a whole mess
no thank you, next

[Myco]

Nope, we'll probably do it just a few days before Christmas day
