Fans were speculating what Mina meant by “the murderer is supported by a large number of people.” They worry that the “murderer” is the group of netizens who cyberbully idols.

As many other people have said before and will keep saying unless something is done, there is a double standard towards male celebrities, so if you are female in the entertainment business, when you go up against a male, even if you have been humiliated, beaten, had horrible things done to you by the male perpetrator, etc, then you are more likely to be on the receiving end of the most hate, harassment and abuse by the public.

To be clear the sexual assault charge is the blackmail for the sex video which he got acquitted for because the recording was consensual since South Koreas sexual assault laws go by resistance of the victim.
