Honestly, this lines up with the more detailed context I've seen floating around. It's very easy to go hate him with "he was shit talking fans" but knowing "he was shit talking fans who were stalking and harassing him and who were harshly criticizing him for shit that was in no way under his control" is more understandable. Sure, he fucked up in trusting an untrustworthy person, but I know the things I think and say about the annoying people I work with... I don't know that it should have cost him his career.

Feeling very "everyone sucks here" about this. The saesangs stalking, harassing and bullying him suck. His girlfriend sucks for leaking their private conversations and removing relevant context to make him look worse. And sure, he sucks a bit too for venting harshly. But this detailed apology just makes me feel bad about the whole situation. JYPE failed him by not giving him an outlet to process the trauma and anxiety of what he was experiencing.

We all complain about work and how exhausting people are, so why shouldn't Idols do the same?

actually, after I thought about my reply and reading the others, I take back my original comment. The apology was detailed enough that I can forgive him now. I didn't read the whole thing bc I have ADD and it was just too long lol but I forgive you, Gunil, and I hope you can find another band to drum for. It's also the Christian thing to do, anyway. (I'm a Christian)

Honestly everyone has a part to blame with this. But JYPe should as they promote so often, listen and notice when their own artists don't feel well about things. He should have resorted to speak to his fellow members, and he should have involved staff or managers into this matter. I am sure JYPe would have involved the police for those fans breaking and using airtags on his car. Now it turned into a whole shit show while it was basically these "fans" their fault that triggered it all to happen. Then some random girl for some reason wanting to take him down when he vents to her about it all. I do wonder why of all people he would feel more comfortable around a random stranger he's only known for 2 weeks, while he has his members whom I imagine would see as brothers.
