Freedom of speech doesn’t really exist. If there really was freedom of speech, wouldn’t we be able to anything we wanted? Censorship can sometimes be good, but other times it’s not. Obviously discrimination is not allowed and shouldn’t be, however, sometimes we can’t even say that we don’t like a song without being ridiculed.

I agree, however I think sometimes having the lack of freedom of speech can be a good thing. Especially if said comments are directly intended to hurt someone

I liked the point she was making in the video. Who are we to say what's right and what's not? Some people want to censor others because they think what is being said is morally wrong but really the definition of what's morally wrong and morally right is different from person to person so should we censor everyone in this case? It's interesting to think about.

I also want to add that people who believe that freedom of speech and freedom of consequences are one and the same. That means you can say anything without suffering the consequences, which isn't the same thing. No matter what you say, there may or may not be some sort of consequence that tags along with it.

Most definitely, people act like there is no consequences attached to the actions they make. But there is.

I don't think anyone is going to seriously come at you for just not liking a song however the issue comes when you get into reasons as a lot of people will just show they lack knowledge on a subject matter and just flat out lie.

I say this as someone who says they don't like some of Red Velvets holy grail title tracks like Psycho and I don't recall anyone really pushing back on that and if asked I just say it's not my cup of tea as that's really all it is.

If you're going to give a more detailed reason you should make sure it sounds like valid criticism as if you confuse an artists fans then they'll press you on it because you've confused them with your point and that's an easy way to get into an argument.

Agree indeed. It all goes back to how insecure ppl are nowadays tbh. You can't make progress if you are a snowflake, u have to accept constructive criticism.
