When hibernating, turtles main source of oxygen is through their butt, which is through a process called cloacal respiration.

Technically I don't think so, they do fart but I don't think it happens during hibernation so it is a little different. It does release gas though so maybe it would be considered one. I'm not an expert on turtle farts sadly
