so there was dreamcatcher's concert apparently in la and there were a few twice lightsticks in the front, and gahyeon was like there are some non-dreamcatcher lightsticks and asked them to put it down and not wave it and the fans just start booing at the two poor twice lightstick holders. the video got deleted on twitter but i got a photo

like why the fuck would you embarass a fan like that? multi stans exist. and like at least they bought a fucking ticket to come and see you, no matter which lightstick they brought. the whole situation to me is just really frustrating ngl, it was just so uncalled for.

i dont get whats wrong with it though? there are twice lightsticks at bts' concerts, loona's lightsticks at twice's concerts and so on. its just the love that matters, not which group's lightstick it is. thats just complete bs im sorry not sorry.

yeah personally idgaf either but kpop fans can be very obsessive so i'd rather go with no lightsick than have strangers call me a fake fan or whatever there is

I guess it's like going to a football game dressed in another team's merch? Obviously they didn't mean to upset anyone and didn't deserve the reaction they got but fans will always take offense and I think even picking up a cheap glowstick or something would have been better

don't venues usually sell like cheap copies/versions of light sticks anyway? ig it depends on the group/their entertainment

Gahyeon saying something was excessive but if you bring another groups lightstick to a concert dedicated to a group then you are running the risk of someone saying something because Kpop fans are super suspicious of behaviour like that so it won't be a good look
