Three suspects in the abduction and murder of a woman in her 40s in Seoul's Gangnam district are traveling in a convoy bound for the Seoul Central District Court to appear for pre-arrest interrogation (warrant review) at the Suseo Police Station in Seoul on the morning of the 3rd. Kwon Do-hyun Reporter
It will be decided on the 3th whether to disclose the identities of the three people arrested in the "Gangnam kidnapping and murder case."
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency will hold a disclosure committee on this day to decide whether to disclose the identities of Aunt Mo (5), Yeon Mo (35), and Hwang Mo (30), who are under arrest for robbery and murder. The Disclosure Committee consists of three internal members of the police and four expert external members.
Yeon and three others were arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and killing Mr. A in his 36s in front of an apartment in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at around 3:4 pm on 3 March and abandoning her body in Yasan near the Daecheong Dam in Daejeon. Police arrested the three men in Seoul and Seongnam, Gyeonggi, 29 hours after the incident.
The police have identified the nanny couple who gave 11 million won to Lee, the main culprit, and are confirming the connection between the money and the kidnapping and murder crimes. The three suspects and Mr. and Mrs. Yoo were investigated for a complicated entanglement between Mr. A and the virtual asset (cryptocurrency) 'Puriever' coin.
The police believed that another suspect, Mr. B, had prepared the crime together, and applied for a preliminary arrest warrant on suspicion of robbery. The police believe that Mr. B followed and monitored Mr. A at the suggestion of a group of suspects, but withdrew from the crime in the middle of last month.
