Well Labubu's are produced under POPMART which is a Chinese toy-figure company and Gizmo(the cute lil' guy from classic Gremlins) was inspired by Chinese folklore. Hence why he is a "Mogwai" comes from the Cantonese Chinese word/term “mo gwai” (魔鬼) and he was purchased at a shop in Chinatown.
