The sadz is strong in me from this news.Such unexectedness from Sojung, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, Umji & SouMu/HYBE just adds to the misearableness im feeling. This was all so unexpected so I'm still trying to process what happens next, if anything.

It's still surreal but with all the rumours flying around about this "disbandment" I'll wait for a number of days/weeks before I know where to stand with my emotions lol. Im not using "disbandment" until its official, or we know more. For now,its just leaving SouMu same/similar to G7 or AP earlier news this yr. Facing reality if "d" word would be kinda too much too soon. 2.5 yrs since last SNSD OT5 activity as a grp is bearable by not facing it head on/focusing on other active grps rn. When all the ggs i like are inactive/hiatus/disbanded-ill throw myself off that bridge when i come to it(metaphorically, not literally). Its years away, extended by aespa-potentially 6 yrs away or 9 yrs even. After tat, all bets are off(unless SNSD or RV hv a 25th yr reunion or 20th yr reunion in 2032/2034: ill rise from my grave for either/both of them).LOL.

We just really have to wait until the 22nd I guess as that's when they'll be free agents so they should speak about their future as we don't really know anything else since outside of Soumus statement it's all speculation.

I will say though that there's a chance this just could be how it ends as Sublimes CEO and like all of their idol artists started following Yerin which doesn't exactly seem like a coincidence but again we just have to wait on the girls.

From the above, i know they aren't disappearing into any black hole somewheres-but this is my first news of this kind of a group i actively stan; even when SNSD had 1 then 3 members leaving SM, i dint actively stan them then so it hit me only l8r after i started stanning them. When its this raw fresh wound tearing open your hurt, lashing out for relief from the hurt seems right tho i might regret l8r. Still salty about 930 so this pain might nvr leave, only lessen(numb with time). It was good while it lasted, i rlly loved Labyrinth, Apple n Mago most of all. At least there's tat. N the memories, even if the future seems like ashes right now.

PS if Yerin actually joins Sublime, she'll kinda be in good company as Hyomin, Jamie, Youngjae n kinda Jackson are signed there too. N Seohyun signed to them after leaving SM, who then left to join Namoo Actors. Id be relieved if Yerin has options lined up already post Soumu-wise.

Based on what I've seen from Hani being with Sublime they seem good at getting their idols work so I think Yerin would be fine if she joined but there's also this which might have something to do with it

She was set to appear on it before Soumus announcement however no one knew if she still would after it as Soumu wiped their schedule which is why they ended up making a statement about it but it clearly either didn't interfere with her position or Yerin found a work around for it.

There's lotsa chatter on my twt/discord tl rn, tat i dont mention here now: i musta missed the teaser/news from a week ago abt Yerin appearing on Beauty Time tv show. I missed out a lot of stuff on twt/discord just prepping for daily task every day. Also to avoid doomscrolling as they call sometimes.

I need Yennie news sooner rather than l8r but ill hv to slowly boil inside until 22nd rolls ard or concrete news abt Yerin/Sowon or the others comes out. Just frustrating how sudden/unpredicted this was. Maybe in hindsight it makes sense tat Gfriend havnt had/seem to had no plans for a cb since Walpurgis Night in Nov 2020, over 6 mths ago now. If i'd thot at all abt it i woulda speculated it was just becos the world's currently recovering from the dumpster fire tat was most of 2020/early 2021 but:

I don't think anyone was ready for it as while there was chatter about them having a comeback I suppose that was just because they hadn't had one for a while and usually have a summer comeback as I don't think people would've been so excitedly talking about a comeback had they known their contracts were coming up already which the delays in their debut made it so no one knew when they actually were.

Yeah, i just read tat they were originally supposed to debut in 2014, which if May 2021 is 7 yrs l8r, means they mighta debuted earlier than Red Velvet even. Tat sounds crazy to me. Well, even if we had until Jan 15 2022-thats just a scant 7 mths away at this point; so it hurts but either way woulda hurt no less now or in Jan 15th; just might be more prepared inwardly in 7 mths but i dunno. Too many factors no one outside negotiations knows about to be able to tell anything about why its come to this in the end.

Just a portent of things to come to a head in August 2021, with the parallels in common. Somewat. At least there's solos before August for other gg. Plus possible solo before January 2022. I just hv to hold on to hope for at least 1 other gg to continue on till 2024, for better pr for worse. I just realised i wrote abt 2 different ggs in the 2 previous sentences; 1st abt a gg we dont stan in common; 2nd abt gg we stan in common. Im tired. Ill stop this post here.
