I generally don't believe in this stuff but I got bored last night and was inspired by peoples graphs they were puttting up. I took this test for a college class and then wrote an essay on why it's BS for the professor. She didn't appreciate it. But interestingly, the results were the same this time. I actually think the results are someone good. But what do you think since you guys have seen me in action.

The biggest problem with the MBTI test is that you know you are being tested, so you'll answer in ways you may not normally if you're just getting evaluated spontaneously.

I think it's called Evaluation Bias.

I agree with that, thats one of the reasons I think it's BS. But I have the advantage when taking it that I don't think most do. I don't care, I have nothing to lose, and it's meaningless. Thus, I believe I'm pretty truthful. But thats where you guys come in. Do the results make sense for me?

I think it's not far off but I would have put me exactly 50/50.

I NEVER would have guessed INFP for you, I probably would have guessed something like INTP or ENTP, but this just proves that not everyone is a walking stereotype of their type. No wonder we get along so well (ENFJ’s and INFP’s are supposed to get along great together).

Of course it’s mostly bs. But lots of fun things are tbh, look at the amount of people who are into horoscopes and astrology, which is undoubtedly more bs than this (imo, if you’re a big believer that’s fine, I’m just very much not). Doesn’t mean we can’t play around with it though

no it doesn't make life easier. i often struggle with the management of many emotions particularly anger and sadness. i often doubt people and my value to them, my friend told me this before but he always laughs about how hard i think just to say nothing. he knows i have a huge problem with overthinking too. but i think an outweighing upside would be my ability to empathize and understand others, the fact that i have a lot of tolerance, and probably patience for others.

emotional stability is also known as neuroticism which (copying this part from my psych notes) describes a person's tendency to experience negative emotions, including fear, sadness, anxiety, guilt, and shame. While everyone experiences these emotions from time to time some people are more prone to it than others. High neuroticism scorers are more likely to react to a situation with fear, anger, sadness, and the like. Low neuroticism scorers are more likely to brush off their misfortune and move on.
